About

ASVANTA started with a gap one person kept seeing from both sides of it.

Mahabub Azam moved from Bangladesh to Japan as a software engineer. Working inside a Japanese company showed him how much real engineering talent in Bangladesh goes untapped by Japanese businesses that need it, and how much operational discipline Japanese business practice has that ventures elsewhere lack. ASVANTA exists to build the businesses that sit in that gap, rather than wait for someone else to.

What “advantage” means here

Every ASVANTA venture is built on an unfair advantage we already have: a market we understand from the inside, a skill we can execute at a level most competitors cannot, or a connection between two markets most people never think to make. We do not start ventures on enthusiasm alone.

How we operate

ASVANTA is not a fund and not an agency. We build our own ventures end to end, and we take on client work through DesignDotIT that funds and informs that building. Discipline comes first: we validate before we commit, and we would rather kill an idea in its first month than run it for two years on hope.

Based in Japan, building across Japan and Bangladesh, with the intention of serving customers well beyond both.
